2007 has seen the team at Condev double in size to over 25 talented and dedicated employees. Every facet of the company construction, development and office support has seen new faces arrive.
To celebrate in Condev style, a wonderful weekend at Couran Cove Resort was orchestrated. Literally on our doorstep, the resort provided a fantastic opportunity for everyone to interact on a much less frantic level. With an Island Adventure Challenge to kick the weekend off, the group split into two teams, RED and YELLOW in a quest to solve the puzzle of the Island Resort first.
The YELLOW team fiercely and resourcefully procured all the right answers to win the day. Rick Grace provided the muscle, while Angela Clarke and Donovan Gardner provided the intellectual power to blitz the competition. Well done!
With no shortage of recreation – bikes, boats, beaches and bars, the team made use of each and every facility. At dinner, the Secret Santa so masterfully organised by Vaughn Thomas (another of his impressive projects) was well received by all. Steve’s new training wheels for his bicycle and Marie’s Shrek mask were timely and appropriate gifts, however it was Billy Dwyer’s “face first into the pool” with both hands grasping his drinks which provided the biggest roar of laughter. Needless to say, the skilful Billy managed to save every drop of alcohol.
Partying into the night, not everyone managed to make it home in one piece (Vaughn can fill you in on the details). Yet despite cuts, bruises and a midnight streaking, resort management is pleased to have the Condev team return.
