Body Corporate Fees are the charges required to administer, maintain and insure the common property in a development. Building insurance, maintenance of painted exteriors, landscaping maintenance, common signage, matters of collective and public concern and the administration of all these areas is handled by a specialty company. The total annual cost is attributed to each tenant as a share, equivalent to their share of the area under title in the development. Most premises will charge this on a monthly basis.
